Description:
A wonderful chamber pot from the Garrison Pottery in Sunderland. Often given as wedding presents, this piece features two naive rhymes about the joys of marriage. On the inside , the ubiquitous frog and a grotesque character with the usual warning to "keep me clean".

Approx 11 inches (280mm) dia, handle to handle and 6 inches (150mm) tall.
In good condition throughout save typical, minor paint losses.
